Edna was such a special, inspirational and generally happy and laid back lady. Her resilience and strength to overcome absolutely everything thrown at her, was amazing. A truly remarkable friend whom I am privileged to have known over the years. I have such wonderful memories of this remarkable lady, but in particular, I remember Edna exercising during a music & movement activity at Oaklands, where Edna had a large stretchy band under her foot, and was holding the other end in her hand. Edna raised her leg almost above her head and was laughing so hard. Nothing was going to defeat her. Such special memories. Edna is going to be missed terribly but remembered with such love and affection. Until we meet again Edna, I shall live my life just one day at a time. xxx
